After only the second year in operation, Cortijo El Carligto earned one of the most sought after honours in the travel industry: selection to the Conde Nast Traveler Gold List. This recognition, for best rural hotel in Spain (“hoteles fuera de la ciudad”), followed a string of accolades from many of the most prestigious titles in travel and news, including Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler (Spain and UK), and the Wall Street Journal. Since that time Cortijo El Carligto and the Hunting Lodge have continued to attract press from numerous online and print media.
Cortijo El Carligto has earned a total of eight nominations to the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List and in 2019 won that award for best rural escape in Spain (hotel de escapada).
